Six things the contract does

None of these are metadata flips. Each one is contract state that changes what the renderer draws.

Reroll

Pay a fee, reroll one trait slot — and the trait you left behind is permanently retired from the collection’s weight table. Supply of that trait drops for everyone, forever.

Rerolling takes two transactions: the first pays the fee and retires the old trait, the second settles the outcome against a block that did not exist when you paid. Nothing readable at the moment of payment decides the result, so there is no draw to probe and reject.

Holding is a shift

Keeping the moon lit is a job, and the rota is how it gets paid. Two streams, neither of them a yield — and the NFT never leaves your wallet. Standing is a record in the contract, not an escrow.

A share of the trading

The 10% royalty can be pointed straight at the rota, so secondary sales fund the people standing on the squares rather than a treasury wallet. There is no emission behind it: if the collection does not trade, the rota pays nothing, and it says so rather than quoting a number it cannot produce.

fees do not stream out as they arrive. they settle into a reserve, and the reserve only pours as the moon lights.

A wage for time served

Accrued per block, in proportion to weight, from a budget that can never be topped up. The supply cap is immutable, the rota is the only address that may mint, and when the allocation is spent the wage stops. Nothing inflates to keep it going.

the other 2,800,000 (25%) is the liquidity reserve, minted once in the token’s constructor and never again. every token that will ever exist is one of those two.

then multiplied by rarity — 1.00× to 2.00× by how many of a token’s traits sit under 2% of their slot. Rarity scales what a keeper has earned; it never replaces it.

The rota opens after reveal

the rota pays from trading fees and a fixed wage budget only. if there is no trading, there is no USDC to pay. a digital collectible, not an investment product.
